Lisa then headed to Beau Monde Spa to have her make-up done and finally to the church, Hillside Christian Church, to finish getting ready. Lisa had gotten her Cathedral length gown from Accent Bridal and she said it was one of the reasons she was glad they chose to have a big church wedding. Lisa was so grateful to her mom and sister Tara for all the help in planning their wedding, she said she couldn't have done it without them. Lisa decided to play up her fun side by wearing red heels that matched the bridesmaids dresses.

Justin told Lisa he wanted to wear a tux instead of his Marine dress uniform since he only gets to wear a tux once, for his wedding. Justin is a recruiter for the Marines and most of his friends and groomsmen traveled a long way to come celebrate this day with them. Justin's best man, Randy Batman, was one of Jeff and Tyff's former grooms. Even some of Lisa friends traveled from a great distance to share in their day. Lisa's two sisters were the maid and matron of honor.
The church was decorated beautifully with candles lining the aisle and three large candelabras at the alter. They were all decorated with red and white roses and calla lilies by Susan's Flowers. There were candles at the front of the sanctuary in honor of their grandparents who have passed. The wedding was officiated by Lisa's aunt, Reverend Debbie Elwick, which meant a lot to Lisa and her family. Since the couple had chosen not to see each other before the ceremony, we took all the formal pictures with the couple afterward while the guests headed to the reception at Terradyne Country Club.

Once we were done with the formal pictures, we all headed to the reception where we took a few minutes for some shots with the couple and wedding party on the golf course before they were announced in. The theme at the reception was black and white polka dots with touches of red. Even the wedding cake, made by Cameo Cakes, had polka dots.
Lisa and Justin headed straight to the cake table and then on to the toasts since their guests had already eaten. Once, they finally had a chance to get a bite to eat, they made their rounds to their guests to personally thank them for coming. Then, it was time for the dance to begin and the night just flew by. It was great getting to visit with Megan and Nick, our bride and groom from a few weeks ago, and Megan's parents.
Lisa & Justin, It was such an honor to document your day despite the 100+ degree heat - you guys were great. We're sure you'll enjoy your time in the Bahamas relaxing on the beach.

~Brett & Cheryl

Bridal Expo 2008

News:
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_dTxamtKvsqg/SIVO_AMnsiI/AAAAAAAAAIg/CInMfYEi_JI/s400/061.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225669786924986914" />
We are letting all our Bride-to-Be's and Groom-to-Be's know that we will be at the Bridal Fair located in the Exhibition Hall at Century II this weekend, July 26 & 27. While Brett was hanging out with the guys, Cheryl met Allison and the girls downtown at The Perfect Touch Salon where Allison's cousin, Kristen, did her hair. Then, we all met back up at the Old Town Courtyard Marriott where everyone was getting ready and we were able to take some pics downtown before heading to the church, Faith Lutheran Church, in Derby, Ks for the wedding.

Throughout the day, Erik had given different friends or family members special photo cards to hand deliver to Allison bringing a huge smile to her face every time she got one. It was one of the sweetest, most thoughtful and romantic things we've had one of our grooms do! (Sorry guys, Erik set the bar pretty high, it's going to be tough to beat!) The last one arrived right before Allison was to walk down the aisle to her anxious groom. Allison kept each one private but, the last one brought a few tears to her eyes.

After the ceremony, we headed to the park with the wedding party and families to take all the "formal pics" since the couple didn't want to take them in the church. While we were taking pictures, the wedding guests headed to the Courtyard Marriott for cocktail hour where they were able to visit and look through photo albums of the couple, including the engagement album we had made for them and one Erik made for Allison that read "Mr. & Mrs." on the front cover. Once the couple made it back to the hotel, they thanked their guests for coming and invited them to join them upstairs for dinner catered by Larkspur. The tables were decorated with pink gerber daisies, children's quotes about love and delicious chocolate truffles handmade by the couple.
At the end of the night, we headed to the fountains in OId Town to take a few fun shots of the couple. Allison wanted to take some shots in the water but, Erik had reservations about it. However, once Erik picked up Allison and ran through the fountains he was smiling from ear to ear.

Allison & Erik, we had such a great time documenting your day especially the fountain shots! Due to the rain, which Megan believes brings good luck on your wedding day, the guys scratched their plans to hang out at All Star Sports. So, we met up with them at the church, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, once the girls were ready. The church looked beautiful and was decorated with ribbons, beads and flowers by Susan's Flowers.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_d8DgxPjXkgQ/SJd1OGgmkyI/AAAAAAAAAAM/f1ZxJfDZGY8/s400/1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230778377340097314" />

Megan & Nick's color was persimmon and the color was found in all the details from the dresses, flowers, and pew bows to the ribbon tied bubbles. The nuptial mass was celebrated by Fr. Spexarth and two other priest who were all close to the families. The couple exited the church to a sea of bubbles.
The reception was held at the Wichita County Club and before being announced in by DJ Ron Brown with Another Dimension we were able to take some shots of the couple and wedding party out on the golf course.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_d8DgxPjXkgQ/SJd19jze_UI/AAAAAAAAAAU/OSS0DTR0U5M/s400/3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230779192657771842" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_d8DgxPjXkgQ/SJd2bm500qI/AAAAAAAAAAc/kteNC4a6rS4/s400/2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230779708885750434" />

It was great having the use of the golf carts for the entire wedding party to make taking the outside shots go a lot faster. Megan & Nick used one of their engagement pictures to have glass coasters with their photo as an inset made for the party favors. They were placed on all the tables and of course we loved them.
After the cake was cut, toasts were made, first dances, bouquet & garter tosses were all out of the way, the party was on. It was a great day and a pleasure getting to document it for Megan & Nick. After their long courtship, it's obvious that their day was all they had hoped it would be. It was also great seeing one of our future bride and grooms, Lisa & Justin - see you guys again in a couple of weeks. Congratulations again Megan & Nick and thanks for letting us share your day with you!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_d8DgxPjXkgQ/SJd2m5it7UI/AAAAAAAAAAk/j9lZgr3noSQ/s400/4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230779902867664194" />

~Brett & Cheryl

Kelsi & Jacob

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We left late on the 4th heading north to Sabetha, Kansas for Kelsi & Jacob's wedding. Early the next morning we met Jacob and the guys at the Sabetha Country Club Golf Course where they were going to play a round of golf before heading the the church to get ready.
While the guys were playing golf, Kelsi and the girls were at the church getting their hair and make-up done.

Kelsi & Jacob had chosen the incredibly fun, vibrate and joyful colors of pink and green as their wedding colors and they were in every amazing detail that the couple spent so much time and effort planning everything to the smallest detail. Kelsi had included her signature fun polka dots in many of the details including the bouquet ribbons, wedding cake and hand stenciled signs on the reception tables.

After the lovely ceremony highlighted by a touching video of the couple, every one entered the reception hall at the church through a canopied doorway with stenciling that read "Happy Ever After". Having the reception site at the church made it so easy for us to capture the amazing details. The tables were full of a variety of flower and fruit filled vases, candles and pictures of the couple.

As the reception wound down, we headed back to the Sabetha County Club where the dance was ready to begin. All the girls carried handmade monogramed handkerchiefs made by Mandie's mom. The flowers were beautiful and done by Jared's aunt. He was so surprised that he couldn't help but, laugh - lightening the mood just before walking his daughter down the long rose petal lined aisle to the very happy groom.

After the lovely ceremony, which was highlighted by a full formally dressed choir and violins, we headed to the reception at the Petroleum Club. Jared's mom made the most amazing groom's cake covered by a fondant icing flag with a picture of Jared during his service in Iraq.

It was definately my most favorite groom's cake ever, even without tasting it! After all the traditional reception dances, toasts, etc. the party was on with the highlight being a tie between Jared singing "My Girl" to Mandee and the groomsmen's choreographed dance to "Bye, bye, bye" by the Backstreet Boys. At the end of the reception, the couple exited to a shower of sparklers.

Mandie and Jared, we were so honored to be part of your day and appreciate the sacrifices you made to serve our country.
In honor of Independence Day we would like to thank all of our veterans, active military and their families who have given and continue to give so much for us to enjoy our freedom - God Bless America!
~Brett & Cheryl

Ashley & Jacob

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We started the day early meeting Ashley & the girls at Emily Dawn salon. Once ready, the girls headed to the church, First Bible Baptist Church to finish getting ready. Thanks to Ashley's detailed planning and the help of the wedding coordinators at the church, we were able to make sure Ashley & Jacob didn't run into each other before the ceremony as we took pictures of the girls and guys separately around the church. The church was simply but elegantly decorated with candles and flowers. The colors of the wedding were blue, yellow and green. The girls wore aqua blue short strapless dresses with a lace sash at the waist. The flowergirl's dress was made by Ashley's mom and matched Ashley's gown. All the ladies carried beautiful bouquets with yellow and white roses and lilies.
During the ceremony, there were a few special touches that showed Ashley & Jacob's fun personalities, including jumping off the stage after being announced husband and wife. One of the surprises was pulled by one of the best men (Jacob's three brother's were all best men) as he handed Jacob a large light up ring, or as the paster called it the "bling, bling ring" instead of the real ring.

After the wedding, the guests received hand dyed paper cones full of bird seed & rice to shower the couple with as they exited the church. We headed to Bradley Fair with the couple to take a few outdoor shots before heading to the reception. Ashley couldn't wait to get to the reception to see the wedding cake which her mom had made. It was a square tiered cake with graduating layers of blue icing from dark to light and topped with a silver W for their last name.

The reception was held at the Best Western in Park City. Dinner was served as soon as the couple was announced into the reception. After dinner, it was time for the toasts, cake cutting and dance to begin.

Congratulations Ashley & Jacob - it was an honor to cover your day and a bonus that it was so much fun hanging out with you and your friends.
~Brett & Cheryl

Cassi & David

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We started the day early heading to Hutchinson for Cassi & David's wedding. Cheryl met Cassi and her Mom at the Style Expressions salon where she was getting her hair done,

while Brett met David and the guys at Carey Park to capture the fun the guys were having playing a round of disc golf. Then it was off the the church, First Assembly of God, where the girls were getting ready.

A friend of the family did all the decorating at the church and the girl's flowers which consisted of white roses and calalillies. The girls each carried a special handkerchief that showed their fun personalities and were tucked into their bouquets. Since Cassi & David chose to see each other before the ceremony, we were able to head across the street from the church to take a few outside shots with the couple and wedding party.
As Cassi was escorted down the aisle by her dad, she and David made their secret "I love you" signs to each other. After the ceremony, the couple exited to a shower of Party Popper streamers as they made their way to David bright blue Mustang.

Before heading to the reception, we went back to Carey Park where we got some amazing shots.

Then, it was off the the State Fairgrounds where the reception was being held in the Domestic Arts Building. The couple, along with friends and family had spent a lot of time transforming the building into a beautiful reception site. Once the couple was introduced, cut the cake, did the traditional dances and threw the bouquet and garter, the party was on.
We had a great time hanging out with Cassi, David, their families and friends and learning about their amazing courtship (starting in grade school where they met on the same playground that David ended up proposing to Cassi). Congratulations to you guys and good luck on your move in a few weeks. We know you'll have a relaxing time in Hawaii on your honeymoon. Thank you again for letting us into your lives to share your day.
~Brett & Cheryl

Mandi & Andrew

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We started the day meeting Mandi and the girls at Salon Knotty where Mandi worked. After getting their hair done, it was time to head to the church (Evangel Assembly of God) for the girls to finish getting ready and to retouch their hair due to the incredibly strong Kansas winds.
The flowers were created by J.R. Koontz and consisted of beautiful arrangements of while lilies, roses, and stephanotis. They looked incredible and they were exactly what Mandi had imagined them to be.

Mandi and Andrew chose to see each other before the ceremony and wanted their family and friends to share in their moment. After the formal portraits, it was time for the ceremony to begin. It was a bittersweet moment for both families since Andrew and Mandi will be moving to California when they get back from their honeymoon.

After the ceremony, the couple exited to a windy shower of bubbles. The couple was introduced at the reception held at The Petroleum Club. We were able to get some cool shots around the building since it was too windy to do any outdoor shots. Instead of the traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for an oreo cheesecake wedding cake and dessert bar with their favorite pies, including the groom's favorite lemon meringue.

We were so honored to be chosen to document Mandi & Andrew's wedding since Mandi's dad has worked many of the wedding fairs. It was a very touching day to witness the emotion of both families as they celebrated the love and commitment that Mandi and Andrew share as they begin this new chapter. Once they were ready, we headed to First Christian Church in Derby for the ceremony. The church was nicely decorated with candles lining the aisle and a huge bouquet on the alter. Brooke's bouquet was done by the Flower Factory with uniquely beautiful green roses.
During the ceremony, everyone was surprised after Brooke's dad stated he & her mom gave her away, and then her dad's fellow police officers and friends announced that they did too. After the ceremony, the couple greeted their guests by ushering them out of the pews, getting a chance to thank everyone personally for coming to share their day with them.
After the ceremony, the couple met us near the Keeper of the Plains which was right next to Exploration Place where the reception was taking place and their guests where enjoying dinner catered by Blue Moon. We were so blessed with a beautiful night after the early morning hail storms and prediction for more evening storms.

Once they were announced in, Brooke & Levi headed straight for the cake table and then it was on to the toasts, first dance, father/daughter dance, bouquet toss and garter toss. Oh yeah, the garter was camoflouge in tribute to when Levi proposed to Brooke while they were out turkey hunting. Barry & Steph with Fat Cat Productions where also there to help document their day. Becca had her hair done in a timeless style with a pink peony tucked in back instead of a veil. Later, Barry & Brett headed to Northrock Lanes to capture Jacob and the guys hanging out & bowling a few frames before meeting back up with everyone at the Scottish Rite Temple where the wedding and reception took place.

The ceremony took place in the auditorium where the alter was decorated beautifully with candles and flowers. The flowers were done by Moore's Flowers and consisted of the most fragrant pink roses, peonies, hydrangeas and a multitude of other flowers. They smelled as beautiful as they looked (which says a lot). The aisle was lined with pink rose petals as Jacob saw Becca for the first time. Jacob got very choked up during the very personal and lovely ceremony. The minister has seen Becca grow up and had gotten to know Jacob through the many years that they've dated making it a very touching ceremony. After the ceremony, the couple and wedding party rode the trolley downtown where Brett, Alex and Steph were able to do some fun shots with the couple and show their fun loving personalities. During this time, their guests were enjoying the chocolate fountain with Cero's delicious chocolate.

After entering down the grand staircase and being announced in by Ron Brown with Another Dimension, the couple and wedding guests were entertained by the "Love Story" Barry & Steph and done of the couple telling how they met and how Jacob proposed. It was hilarious and definitely showcased their personalities and relationship. Of course, the highlight was seeing Becca's dad dance in the video.
The couple greeted their guests as they made their way through the buffet line, catered by Tony Dee's Catering. The couple barely had a chance to eat when it was time for toasts and for the dance to get started. Once the dance started, the party was in full swing.
Becca & Jacob, it was an honor to document your day.
~Brett, Cheryl & Alex

Kimmy & Anthony

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

Friday started off with a bang, literally, I met up with Anthony, his dad, and Canon (a groomsman) at the sporting clays range for a round of shooting before the wedding. It was a great time, and even though the wind was making the targets fly pretty erratic, all the guys were able to hit quite a few. After the shooting was over I headed to Cheveaux salon to meet up with the ladies for hair and makeup.

Once all was done, we headed to Central Christian Church to finish getting ready, take the formal portraits, and of course, the ceremony. The church was decorated beautifully with a large arbor adorned with flowers. Kimmy's mom and one of her friends did an excellent job with most of the decorations. Kimmy's bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets and all the other fresh flowers were done by Susan's Florals.

After the ceremony, the couple left to a shower of bubbles and since the kids had bubble guns they produced a ton of bubbles. The couple drove away in a bright yellow Corvette. We stopped at Bradley Fair to take a few pics before heading the The Villa in Andover for the reception. And luckily, the police didn't give Anthony a speeding ticket after seeing Kimmy in her wedding dress. The couple was introduced down the grand staircase. They went straight to the cake table and then had a chance to mingle with their guests before finally getting a bite to eat and starting the dance. The night flew by and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Kimmy & Anthony, thank you so much for letting us be part of your day. They were married at Norwich United Methodist Church.

Ashley arrived early that morning to have hair and make up done at the church, while Colt showed up a little later to get into his tux. Following the ceremony, Colt and Ashley left the church to a showering of wheat seeds, and jumped in the limo for a quick ride down town for some photos on the main street in Norwich. Afterwards, we picked up the rest of the wedding party in the limo and went to Clonmel for the reception and dinner.

After dinner, cake cutting and toasts, we were able to go outside with the couple for a fun quick photo session at sunset, then back inside to start the dance.

Thanks again to Colt, Ashley and all the family and friends.

Best wishes,

Brett & Cheryl

Jenna and Matt

What a great day! I started early by meeting the ladies at De-al salon for hair and makeup. Following that we all went to St. Mary's Cathedral to finish getting ready, take a few photos and of course, the ceremony. While Jenna and the ladies were getting ready, I took some of the portraits of Matt, his family and groomsmen. As soon as the girls were ready, the men hid away and ate lunch while we took some shots of the Jenna, and her bridal party and family.

Matt and Jenna had decided to see each other before the ceremony, so we cleared the church so they could have their viewing, and then spend a few quite moments with each other before we began the group and family photos.

It was a beautiful ceremony and Mass, and afterwards the couple exited the church to a shower of rose pedals. We finished up with a few formal shots at the church. On the way to the reception, we stopped at Riverside park to take a few shots of the couple out side.

We then went on to the reception at the Petroleum Club, as always, Kathy had everything ready to go. The couple was introduced in and then went over to cut the cake and have the toasts before being served a wonderful meal. After dinner the party really got started. Matt and Jenna were able to have the band Papa Sol, from Atlanta, play the wedding dance. They were an incredible band that had everyone dancing until the night was over.

We would like to thank Matt, Jenna and all their family and friends who were so great to work with. We were also fortunate enough to be working with Barry and Stephanie of FatCat video. One of the highlights of the reception was playing the love story Barry and Steph did for the couple.

The day started off with the girls getting ready at Charisma Salon, it was nice to see one of our past brides, Taryn, who is a stylist there and was working on some of the bridesmaids hair. After the hair, it was back to the Shanda's parents house for make up and last minute preparation.

The ceremony was at St. Francis, in west Wichita. Shanda and her father arrived at the church in a really sporty Chrysler Sebring Convertible. It was a beautiful ceremony with great vocalists.
The couple saw each other before the ceremony in a special tender review, so we had all the formal and family photos taken before the ceremony started. As soon as the ceremony was over, we were able to go straight to Rolling Hills Country club for the reception, and take a few minutes to enjoy the beautiful day as we had a short photo session on the golf course.

The reception included a sit down meal and cheese cake. A friend of the couple acted as MC and DJ, and started the evening off with traditional cutting of the cake, toasts and first dances. We were able to have one more short photo session with the couple around sunset out on the golf course, before they danced the night away.

We would really like to thank Peter, Shanda and all the family for making our job so enjoyable. We wish you both the best.

Brett & Cheryl

Debuts Are Available to Purchase

We do a debut slide show for each and every wedding that we do. Sorry about that.

So, what have I been up to. Jeff and I went to Las Vegas in early March to attend the WPPI convention. We had a great time meeting and talking to all the great photographers that were in attendance. Even though most of our time was dedicated to the convention and events surrounding the convention, we were able to take some time Monday evening to get out and take some night time photos of the Las Vegas Strip

In addition to our Vegas trip we have been working on getting the studio ready for our upcoming workshop.

Ryan & Julie Stephenson

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We met Julie and the girls at Countryside Christian Church, as they finished getting ready. Julie was so nervous, she kept shaking as she tried to put her lip gloss on. Meanwhile, Ryan and the guys were putting on their tuxes at the church.

Julie's beautiful champaign colored strapless beaded gown with pick-up skirt and chapel train was accented at the waist with a latte colored sash. The bridesmaids wore strapless latte colored dresses with champaign colored sashes. The beautiful flowers were done by Stems. The bridesmaids bouquets were full of white tulips with crystal icicle accents. Julie's bouquet smelled incredible and was full of white roses, white freesia and the same crystal icicle accents.

Ryan & Julie wanted to see each other before the ceremony but they wanted it to be special so they took a few minutes holding hands and talking to each other on either side of the door to the bride's room before Julie walked down the aisle to her waiting groom. After a little time to themselves, we started the formal pictures.

During the ceremony, one of Julie's brother's, Chris, sang "God Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts and Katie Harmon sang "At Last" by Etta James while the couple lit the unity candle. The ceremony was very touching especially when Julie whispered "I love you" to Ryan just before their emotion filled vows. After the ceremony, the couple exited the church to an arch of bubbles as they made their way to the limo. We met the newlyweds and wedding party in Old Town to take a few pics before heading to the Garvey Center for the reception.

After the bouquet toss, garter toss and toasts, it was time for dinner, catered by Syls. Then it was on to the cake cutting and the first dances. Due to a mix up with the cake company, the couple ended up cutting the cake with a plastic knife left over from dinner. Niether Ryan or Julie let it spoil thier night, they just went with the flow and enjoyed their day. Making the reception a wonderful time for Ryan & Julie to visit with their family and friends.

Ryan & Julie, thank you so much for letting us be part of your day. You were so easy to work with and made our job easier than usual. We wish you every happiness as you start your new life together. Hope all the years you share as husband and wife are joyous ones.

Thanks again,
Cheryl & Brett

Eric and Katie Mohr

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We met Katie at her parents house where the girls were getting their hair and make-up done. Soon it was time to head to the church, St. Peter's Catholic Church, where we met up with Barry & Steph with Fat Cat Produtions, and the girls were able to slip into their dresses.

Katie wore a stunning halter dress with cathedral train and elaborate beading. Katie's hair was in an up-do with tiara and veil with a blusher. The bridesmaids wore red dresses with icicle type beading and short white capes. Katie's mom surprised Katie with a full length hooded cape and furred muffle to keep her warm. The flowers were done by Moore Flowers and Katie's bouquet was a cascade of white lilies, red roses with rhinestone centers, berries and accented with a rosary given to her by her brother Nick.

The couple chose not to see each other before the ceremony. So, the first time Eric saw his beautiful bride was when the grand doors to church were opened, as the harp played, and Katie's dad escorted her down the long aisle. The couple was filled with emotion as they exchanged vows, lit the unity candle, and exchanged the sign of peace with their parents. After the nuptial mass, the couple exited the church to a shower of fake snow as they made their way to the waiting horse drawn carriage.

The reception hall at the church had been transformed by curtain lined walls and red linen covered tables with beautiful centerpieces. The wedding cake carried the snowflake theme with snowflake and icicle accents. A snowflake ice sculpture with the couples initials was the centerpiece of the buffet table. The guests also enjoyed the chocolate fountain. Before dinner was served, Katie's brother, Nick, presented the couple with a framed matrimonial blessing from the pope that he brought back for them from Italy. After the dinner, video and emotional toasts, the couple started the dance, DJ'd by Scott Ward with AMM. During the dance, most of the guests joined in the grand march as the party was just beginning.

Eric & Katie - It was such a pleasure getting to know each of you and documenting your wedding day. With the support of such close families and wonderful friends, we know you'll have many happy years together.
God Bless you both and thanks again,
Brett & Cheryl

Patrick and Ashley Steen

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We met Ashley and the girls at the Courtyard Mariott downtown early on Saturday. Once the girls were ready it was time to head to the church, St. Anthony's Catholic Church in downtown Wichita. It was a drizzly, windy day and despite the weather, Ashley was all smiles as she entered the church. The elaborate interior of St. Anthony's was a beautiful background for their wedding mass.

Ashley wore a stunning gown from Reni's Bridal Boutique with exquisite lace overlay and intriquite beading. Ashley's bouquet was filled with Casablanca roses. The bridesmaids all loved their black a-line halter dresses and couldn't wait to dance in them.

As the girls took a few pics around the church, Patrick and the guys were hanging out in the basement telling jokes and remembering some fun times they've had together and looking forward to sharing this day with Patrick.

Ashley stated to her friends that she wasn't at all nervous about marrying Patrick because she had "no doubts" but, she was nervous about everyone watching her as she walked down the aisle. All eyes were on the beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle to a beaming Patrick as the groom's uncle played the violin.

Luckily the rain ended and we were able to take some shots of the happy couple by the Keeper of the Plains statue along the river and by the Christmas lights in front of Century II before heading to the reception at St. Anne's. Ashley and Patrick were such good sports and despite the gusting winds, they were excited to get some fun shots.

The dinner and reception went off without a hitch. Patrick was thrilled over his groom's cake in the shape of a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer can. The party began with their first dance "Made for two" by White Ghost Shivers.

Ashley and Patrick' thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day. Your joy was contagious and we truly enjoyed sharing your day with you. We wish you much happiness as you start your life together and many joyous years to come.

~Cheryl & Brett

Coming Soon! It brings back great memories of visiting my grandparents and my aunt & uncle's farm every time I'm there. So, it was a thrill for Brett and I to meet Ruth at the First Presbyterian Church in Winfield where she and the other bridesmaids were getting their hair and make-up done. Once the girls were ready they slipped into their sleeveless empire waist cinnamon colored dresses. Ruth's dress was simply elegant - strapless with cascading beading on the bodice. Ruth accented her gown with pearl earrings given to her by her parents and matching pearl drop necklace given to her by Michael.

Ruth & Michael had decided to see each other before the ceremony so we could spend more time with them and get some great outdoor fall foliage pics. Even though Michael had practiced his surprise look for when he saw Ruth for the first time, I believe she actually took his breath away making him forget his practiced look. Ruth was obviously as impressed with how great Michael looked in his brown tux with cinnamon colored vest and striped tie as she was all smiles when she saw him for the first time. Despite the unusually warm weather, Ruth & Michael couldn't have been luckier than to have such a beautiful day for their wedding and still have vibrant leaves on the trees near the church.

During the ceremony, one of Michael's groomsman, Dave, played his guitar and sang the perfect wedding song - First Day of my Life. As lovely as the ceremony was, when Michael's sister, Rebecca, played the harp as the couple lit the unity candle, it was obvious that the title of the song - The Luckiest - was exactly how Ruth and Michael felt at that moment.

After the ceremony, the couple exited the church to a wall of bubbles as they made their way to the trolley. Michael wanted to take a few pics in front of his favorite hamburger joint before heading to the reception at the Holy Name Parish Hall. The reception hall was decorated in fall colored floral and candle arrangements as centerpieces on the table. The grooms cake was in the shape of an X-Box with matching controller and included Michael's gamer number on the back. It was one of the best grooms cakes we've seen.

Ruth & Michael, Thank you so much for making our job so much fun and allowing us to capture your special day. Our wish for you is the same as the Willow Tree figurine - Promise - that you had on your cake table, we pray you always remember the promise you made to each other on this day! And the way you felt when you saw each other for the first time on your wedding day!

Thanks again,
Brett, Cheryl & Alex
